Engine 3 and Quint 53 rolled out the rope lights and traded in some of the red lights for green ones to present a red-and-green splashing of lights along the parade route!... |

Beyond the muster activities (with target ball, a rare find on the west coast in our experience) and apparatus display, there were activities for the kids -- and the Madera Historical Firefighters showed off their custom, homemade and fully operational hand pumper. | Click here to View | Benicia hosted a muster to honor and thank longtime volunteer battalion chief Ron Rice for his 56 years of service to the Benicia Volunteer Fire Department, as well as being a driving force behind the creation of the Benicia Fire Museum in 1981. After an opening parade, the water started flying as teams and their apparatus participated in muster activities (a fire-related competition involving hose wagons, bucket brigade, etc.).... |
